The family is the main nucleus of society where all its members of the family group receive love, respect, understanding and all that moral value that strengthens it every day in society, unfortunately, in recent year the opposite is being seen since in families there is physical, psychological, sexual affectation, abandonment or negligence; which is commonly known as family violence. The research reveals that the level of family violence in Peru is described in parameters of high level, medium level and low level, and that it is the first research work carried out in this place in the rural area of Iquitos, since there is no precedent on the subject investigated in the community of Gallito rio Amazonas, in this sense it is demonstrated in the research work on the level of knowledge about family violence in the parents of the community of Gallito rio Amazonas, Iquitos 2024 have a high level of knowledge about family violence is found. The main objective of the research was to determine the level of knowledge about family violence among parents in the community of Gallito rio Amazonas, Iquitos 2024. The methodology used was a qualitative descriptive approach, which allowed a timely analysis of the results obtained at the end of the research.
