Sumario:The objective was to determine the relationship between sociocultural factors and participation in preventive activities in Dengue control, in residents of the Jorge Abramovich Human Settlement, in the District of San Juan Bautista, Iquitos 2022. The study was quantitative with a non-experimental, descriptive, correlational and cross-sectional design, the study population consisted of 140 inhabitants over 18 years of age. Survey and home visit, and instruments were used as techniques, a questionnaire (validity 92.50% and reliability 81.0%) and Likert scale (validity 90.0% and reliability 80.8%). The results obtained with respect to social factors were: age (27 to 59 years) predominated in 54.3%, sex (women) 64.3%, marital status (cohabiting) 46.4%, educational level (secondary) 59.3%, occupation (independent) 52.9%; cultural factors were: religion (Catholic) 42.9%, level of knowledge about Dengue (high) in 49.3%. Regarding the level of participation in preventive activities in Dengue control (high) by 65.0%. In conclusion, there is a statistically significant relationship (p < 0.05) between the social factor: level of education (p = 0.000) and cultural factor: level of knowledge (p = 0.000).
