Departamento Académico de FitotecniaEl presente trabajo describe los procesos de trasplante de plántines y cosecha de frutos de pimiento (Capsicum annuum) para producción de semillas de calidad. En el desarrollo de estas labores pueden presentarse dificultades técnicas que ponen en riesgo la pureza genética por mezclas de líneas o afectar la producción. Se analizó y determinó las condiciones óptimas para el trasplante, incluyendo el estado fisiológico, edad y estructura del plantin óptimo y las prácticas agronómicas que favorecen un buen establecimiento del plantin en campo. Asimismo, se describe la importancia de una buena planificación en las labores de trasplante y cosecha como base para desarrollar el proceso con éxito. Se describió las fases e importancia de la labor de cosecha para la producción semillas de calidad. Se describió a través de la literatura la edad del fruto en tiempos de cosecha. El estudio describió cada labor y la influencia de planificar los procesos para una correcta ejecución que trae como consecuencia un producto de calidad genética y calidad fisiológica, destacando el rol del profesional en agronomía para optimizar el rendimiento y la eficiencia en la producción de semillas de pimiento.The study describes the processes of seedling transplantation and fruit harvesting of pepper (Capsicum annuum) aimed at producing high-quality seeds. The optimal conditions for transplantation were analyzed and determined, including the physiological state, age, and structure of the ideal seedling, as well as the agronomic practices that promote successful establishment in the field. The importance of proper planning in transplantation and harvesting tasks is emphasized as a foundation for achieving successful outcomes. The phases and relevance of harvesting for quality seed production are outlined, including the determination of the optimal fruit age at harvest based on literature review.
