Maestría en AgronegociosLos mercados agroalimentarios, específicamente, los de frutas y verduras son, frecuentemente, más rigurosos en obtener un producto de calidad, sano e inocuo y que hayan sido obtenidos respetando el medio ambiente. Es en este contexto que los melocotones producidos por la asociación Huarqui Puñocoto son comprados a bajos precios al no tener garantías de calidad; es por ello, la necesidad de ser más competitivos y de aplicar una norma, que gestione los estándares de seguridad y calidad de los productos obtenidos, como lo es la norma Global Gap, reconocida a nivel internacional. Esta investigación tuvo como objetivo constatar la incidencia de la implementación norma Global Gap en la competitividad del melocotón de la asociación Huarqui Puñocoto-Parán-Región Lima. Para llevar adelante esta propuesta de la norma, se aplicó la lista de verificación de la norma Global Gap y una encuesta para evaluar el grado de competitividad de los 27 productores de melocotón que conforman la asociación Huarqui Puñocoto. El diseño para esta investigación fue un modelo no experimental transversal porque no se maniobraron las variables en estudio. El tipo de investigación fue descriptivo correlacional porque describió como es y cómo se manifestó determinado evento. Además, se midió y evaluó la correlación que existió entre las variables. Para recoger información de los productores se utilizó la escala Likert y para darle confiabilidad a los instrumentos se aplicó el alfa de Cronbach obteniendo un valor de 0.805; también, el coeficiente de correlación de Pearson obtuvo una correlación significativa del 78% (r=0.783), indicando que la implementación norma Global Gap incidiría, significativamente, en la competitividad del melocotón de la asociación Huarqui Puñocoto-Parán-Región Lima. Así mismo, se logró una calificación deficiente de solo el 6.91% en las respuestas de la lista de verificación Global Gap.The agri-food markets specifically the one that sells fruits and vegetables are frequently more rigorous about the quality, health and harmless of their products and if the products was obtained respecting the environment; is in this context that the peach produced by the association Huarqui Puñocoto are bought at low prices because they have no quality guarantees; for this reason, the need to be more competitive and to apply a standard that manages the safety and quality standards of the products obtained, such as the Global Gap standard recognized internationally. This research aimed to verify the impact of the implementation of the Global Gap standard on the peach competitiveness of the association Huarqui Puñocoto-Parán-Región Lima. To bring this proposal of the rule was applied the list of the verification of the Global Gap rule and a survey to evaluate the level of competitive of the 27 producers of peach that conform the association Huarqui Puñocoto. The design for this research was the not experimental model because the variables wasn’t use in this study; The type of investigation was descriptive correlational, because it described how a certain event is and how it manifested itself, in addition, the correlation that existed between the variables was measured and evaluated.
