Departamento Académico de Recursos HídricosEn esta monografía se describe el modelamiento hidráulico bidimensional del río Carabambita y la propuesta de construcción de defensas ribereñas con muros de concreto en la Ciudad Carabamba, ubicada en el distrito de Carabamba, provincia de Julcán, en el departamento de La Libertad, Perú. El trabajo se basó en la utilización del software Iber, para ello se ingresó el hidrograma para un periodo de retorno de 100 años, con un caudal máximo de 55.18 m3/s. Posteriormente, se elaboró una capa de rugosidad de Manning para abarcar toda el área de estudio, y se introdujeron las estructuras existentes en el modelo. Los resultados de la simulación en situación sin proyecto permitieron identificar las zonas propensas a inundaciones y plantear la ubicación óptima de las defensas ribereñas con muros de concreto. El resultado de esta fase fue la propuesta de implementación de un total de 15 diques de concreto, de los cuales 08 son de concreto armado y 07 de mampostería de concreto.This monograph describes the two-dimensional hydraulic modeling of the Carabambita River and the proposed construction of river defenses with concrete walls in the Carabamba City, located in the district of Carabamba, province of Julcán, in the department of La Libertad, Peru. The work was based on the use of Iber software, for which the hydrograph for a return period of 100 years, with a maximum flow of 55.18 m3/s was entered. Subsequently, a Manning roughness layer was created to cover the entire study area, and the existing structures were introduced into the model. The results of the simulation in the without-project situation made it possible to identify the flood-prone areas and to propose the optimal location of the concrete walled riparian defenses.
