Estos ocurren desde américa central hasta américa del sur; Dipteryx es un género que contiene 12 especies distribuidas mayoritariamente en los bosques lluviosos amazónicos; ellas tienen gran importancia actual por la alta calidad de sus maderas. Varios autores estudian el género, sin embargo la delimitación de las especies aún es insuficiente. En este estudio, se halló que los caracteres de arquitectura foliar pueden aportar datos e información para la mejor delimitación de las especies del género. Este trabajo de investigación aborda el estudio taxonómico, la distribución y una aproximación al estado de conservación de las especies peruanas del genero Dipteryx. Incluye descripciones, ilustraciones y clave para la identificación de las especies; también una integración de información sobre la distribución y situación actual de conservación de las especies para el territorio peruanoDipteryx Schreb. (Fabaceae) is one of three genera that make up the Dipterygeae tribe along with Pterodon and Taralea. These occur from central america to south america; Dipteryx is a genus that contains 12 species distributed mainly in the rainforest Amazonian; they are of great importance today because of the high quality of their woods. Several authors study the genus, however the delimitation of the species is still insufficient. In this study, it was found that the characters of foliar architecture can provide data and information for the best delimitation of the species of the genus. This research deals with the taxonomic study, the distribution and an approximation to the state of conservation of the Peruvian species of Dipteryx genus.
