Departamento Académico de HorticulturaEl presente trabajo tuvo como finalidad describir la experiencia en el manejo nutricional que se desarrolla en favor del “Tang Gold” que se realiza en los campos del Fundo, considerando el impacto que tiene la fertilización sobre la calidad y productividad del cultivo. Por ese motivo, se ha analizado la evolución de los nutrientes (% de N, P, K, Ca, Mg, Na y mg/kg de Fe, Mn, Zn, B, y Cl sobre materia seca) a lo largo del ciclo y en función de la fenología de la variedad Tang Gold, mencionada en condiciones de la Irrigación Santa Rosa, Sayán, Lima. Además, desde la preparación del terreno, describe las actividades realizadas para mejorar algunas características químicas del suelo como objetivo de disminuir el contenido del sodio, reduciendo el PSI, limitar la disponibilidad del boro, reducir la conductividad eléctrica, aumentar el porcentaje de materia orgánica y elevar la capacidad del intercambio catiónico. Las actividades realizadas se explican en las siguientes 4 fases de acondicionamiento del suelo: a) El subsolado es una técnica que permite roturar el suelo por debajo de la capa arable, permitiendo eliminar los impedimentos físicos que limitan el drenaje y el crecimiento radicular de las plantas, b) El pre-camellón en esta fase se busca mejorar las características químicas incorporando en mezcla con el suelo elementos de origen orgánico e inorgánico, pretendiendo proporcionar equilibrios químicos a un largo plazo, c) El camellón completo, en esta fase se persigue terminar con la altura, ancho de la base inferior y superior adecuadas para el crecimiento radicular de la plantación y d) El lavado del camellón, es una técnica que requiere una cantidad de agua necesaria para percolar las sales tóxicas que afectan las raíces del cultivo en la zona arable y dependerá de la calidad de agua de riego y del sistema de riego empleado.The purpose of this work was to describe the experience in nutritional management that is developed in favor of “ Tang Gold” that is carried out in the fields of the Farm, considering the impact that fertilization has on the quality and productivity of the crop.
