Departamento Académico de HorticulturaEn el presente trabajo se describe el proceso de implementación de la certificación orgánica para los estándares de Estados Unidos, Europa y Perú en el sector de la palma aceitera, dirigido a un grupo de productores en el marco de la Alianza Sol de Palma – COCEPU – OLAMSA, desarrollado en el departamento de Ucayali. Asimismo, este trabajo muestra la implementación del sistema interno de control y su importancia para el logro de la certificación orgánica grupal, incluyendo procedimientos, documentos y registros mínimos necesarios para la obtención de la certificación. Además, se detallan las características más importantes en el manejo productivo de la palma aceitera orgánica y la importancia de contar con una metodología de capacitación para los productores e inspectores internos, que les permita entender de forma dinámica las normativas orgánicas. Al participar en el primer proceso de certificación de palma aceitera orgánica en el Perú se presentan los retos y oportunidades de este sector, siendo el punto de partida para futuras investigaciones.In the present document, the process of implementation of organic certification for the United States, European and Peruvian standards in the palm oil sector is detailed, aimed at a group of producers in the framework of the Sol de Palma - COCEPU – OLAMSA Alliance, developed in the department of Ucayali. This work also shows the implementation of the internal control system and its importance for the achievement of group organic certification, including procedures, documents, and minimum records necessary to obtain certification. In addition, the most important characteristics of organic palm oil production management and the importance of having a training methodology for producers and internal inspectors that allows them to understand organic regulations in a dynamic way are detailed.
