Departamento Académico de FitopatologíaLa granada (Punica granatum L.) en la costa del Perú, es uno de los principales desafíos fitosanitarios es la infestación por nemátodos, especialmente por Meloidogyne, también conocidos como nematodos del nódulo de la raíz. Para solucionar esta problemática en condiciones naturales, se evaluó el efecto de un nematicida cuyo ingrediente activo es Fluopyram. El experimento se realizó en la provincia de Huaral, Lima, utilizando un diseño de bloques completamente al azar (DBCA) con 5 dosis del nematicida (0, 0.5, 0.75, 0.90 y 1.0 L/ha), distribuidas en 4 bloques y un total de 20 unidades experimentales. Se realizaron evaluaciones cada 20 días durante un período de 60 días. Los resultados indican que el uso de Fluopyram tuvo un impacto positivo en el manejo de Meloidogyne incognita en el cultivo de granado, particularmente las dosis de 0.9 a 1 L/ha demostraron reducir la incidencia del nematodo en variables como el porcentaje y grado de nodulación, así como en la cantidad de nematodos presentes en raíces y por gramo de suelo.The pomegranate (Punica granatum L.) on the Peruvian coast, one of the main phytosanitary challenges is the infestation of nematodes, especially the genus Meloidogyne, also known as root knot nematode. To address this problem under field conditions, the effect of a Fluopyram-based nematicide was tested. The experiment took place in the province of Huaral, Lima, using a completely randomized block design (DBCA) with 5 doses of the nematicide (0, 0.5, 0.75, 0.90 and 1.0 L/ha), distributed in 4 blocks and a total of 20 experimental units.
