Departamento Académico de EntomologíaLa mosca de la fruta es una plaga de importancia cuarentenaria en el Perú, por lo que SENASA aplica medidas fitosanitarias para el transporte de fruta hospedante hacia áreas reglamentadas. En ese sentido, el presente documento tiene por objetivo analizar la implementación del procedimiento de las medidas fitosanitarias de cuarentena interna para las moscas de la fruta Ceratitis capitata Wiedemann y Anastrepha spp en los distritos del sur de Lima, así como verificar la lista de hospedantes de las plagas con el fin de evitar su dispersión y/o establecimiento en las áreas reglamentadas del Perú. El protocolo de inspección de cuarentena interna se basa exclusivamente en el manual PRO-SCV-14 (2015), los que se aplican en los centros de origen. De acuerdo a lo anterior, se puede señalar que una de las principales dificultades en el proceso de inspección corresponde a la desactualización de la lista de hospedantes de moscas de la fruta del referido manual, ya que este no incluye hospedantes potenciales, como las especies frutales de aguaymanto (Physalis peruviana), arándano (Vaccinium corymbosum), fresa (Fragaria sp.) y granado (Punica granatum) Asimismo, se puede señalar que el muestreo aplicado en el procedimiento de inspección de fruta, no sería representativo, puesto que ésta se rige por una tabla de muestreo que discrepa con el Procedimiento Unificado de Exportación Vegetal de exportación PRO- M04.02.01 (2021), que indica que el muestreo debe estar entre el 1 y 2% del total.The fruit fly is a pest of quarantine importance in Peru, so SENASA applies phytosanitary measures for the transport of host fruit to regulated areas. In this sense, the aim of this document is to analyze the implementation of the procedure of internal quarantine phytosanitary measures for the fruit flies Ceratitis capitata Wiedemann and Anastrepha spp in the southern districts of Lima, as well as to verify the list of hosts of pests in order to prevent their spread and/or establishment in the regulated areas of Peru. The internal quarantine inspection protocol is based exclusively on the PRO-SCV-14 (2015) manual, which is applied in the centers of origin. According to the above, it can be noted that one of the main difficulties in the inspection process corresponds to the outdated list of fruit fly hosts in the referred manual, since it does not include potential hosts, such as fruit species: golden berry Physalis peruviana, blueberry Vaccinium corymbosum, strawberry Fragaria sp. and pomegranate Punica granatum.
