El análisis del crecimiento es crucial para predecir su crecimiento y desarrollo, proporcionando información para la toma de decisiones agronómica en la agricultura. El objetivo general es determinar el comportamiento en sus principales etapas fenológicas y patrones de crecimiento en los cuatro tipos de lechuga durante la época de invierno y la primavera. El estudio se llevó a cabo en el campo experimental del Programa de Investigación y Proyección Social en hortalizas de la UNALM, utilizando un diseño de bloques incompletos balanceados con cuatro bloques y ocho tratamientos, evaluando diez plantas por unidad experimental a los once días después del trasplante. Se registraron datos sobre el número de hojas, largo y ancho de la hoja más grande en la etapa de crecimiento, fundamentales para los modelos y sus variables de cosecha. Las etapas fenológicas varían entre tipos y cultivares de lechuga, el cual pueden ser influenciadas por factores ambientales. Los rendimientos mostraron diferencia significativa, siendo el cultivar Patagonia (6.2 kg/m²) notablemente superior, tanto Parris Island y White Boston (2.87 y 2.85 kg/m²) no presentan diferencia significativa y todos los cultivares tipo hoja (entre 1.21 a 2.11 kg/m²) no presentan diferencia significativa entre ellos. Se encontró que los modelos predictivos ARIMA y regresión simple proporcionaron una alta eficiencia de predicción según la prueba de Ljung-Box.Lettuce (Lactuca sativa L.) is one of the most consumed leafy vegetables in the country, standing out in the central coast thanks to favorable climatic conditions that facilitate its optimal development and production. Growth analysis is crucial to predict its growth and development, providing information for agronomic decision making in agriculture. The general objective is to determine the behavior in its main phenological stages and growth patterns in the four types of lettuce during the winter and spring seasons. The study was carried out in the experimental field of the Vegetable Research and Social Projection Program of the UNALM, using a balanced incomplete block design with four blocks and eight treatments, evaluating ten plants per experimental unit eleven days after transplanting. Data were recorded on the number of leaves, length and width of the largest leaf at the growth stage, fundamental for the models and their harvest variables. Phenological stages vary among lettuce types and cultivars, which can be influenced by environmental factors. Yields showed significant difference, with the Patagonia cultivar (6.2 kg/m²) being significantly superior, both Parris Island and White Boston (2.87 and 2.85 kg/m²) showing no significant difference and all leaf type cultivars (between 1.21 to 2.11 kg/m²) showing no significant difference between them.
