Maestría en AgronegociosLa presente investigación tuvo como objetivo general determinar en qué medida se relaciona el nivel de implementación de la norma GLOBAL GAP en la producción de camu-camu con la competitividad de los productores en la región Ucayali, Perú. Se utilizó un enfoque cuantitativo, de tipo básico, con un diseño no experimental de corte transversal y nivel correlacional. La población estuvo conformada por 250 productores de camu-camu de la región, de los cuales se seleccionó una muestra por conveniencia de 41 productores. Se empleó la técnica de encuesta, utilizando un cuestionario estructurado con escala de Likert de 5 puntos, que incluyó 21 preguntas relacionadas con la variable independiente (X: Implementación de la norma GLOBAL GAP) y 12 preguntas sobre la variable dependiente (Y: Competitividad del camu-camu en la región Ucayali). La variable independiente se dividió en tres dimensiones: nivel de inocuidad y trazabilidad, nivel de salud, seguridad y bienestar del trabajador, y nivel de gestión ambiental y conservación. Los resultados mostraron que existe una correlación positiva y significativa entre la implementación de la norma GLOBAL GAP y la competitividad del camu-camu (rho = 0.351, p = 0.024). Específicamente, se encontró una correlación positiva moderada y significativa entre el nivel de inocuidad y trazabilidad y la competitividad (rho = 0.430, p = 0.005). En cambio, el nivel de salud, seguridad y bienestar del trabajador no mostró una correlación significativa (rho = 0.150, p = 0.350). Por otro lado, el nivel de gestión ambiental y conservación presentó una correlación positiva y significativa con la competitividad (rho = 0.396, p = 0.010). Estos hallazgos sugieren que, aunque la implementación de la norma GLOBAL GAP en general mejora la competitividad del camu-camu, los aspectos de inocuidad, trazabilidad y gestión ambiental tienen un mayor impacto. Se recomienda fortalecer estas áreas y considerar otros factores que también puedan relacionarse con la competitividad del producto en mercados nacionales e internacionales.The present research aimed to determine the extent to which the level of implementation of the GLOBAL GAP standard in camu-camu production is related to the competitiveness of producers in the Ucayali region, Peru. A quantitative approach was used, with a basic, non experimental, cross-sectional, and correlational design. The population consisted of 250 camu-camu producers from the region, from which a convenience sample of 41 producers was selected. A survey technique was employed, using a structured questionnaire with a 5 point Likert scale, which included 21 questions related to the independent variable (X: Implementation of the GLOBAL GAP standard) and 12 questions about the dependent variable (Y: Competitiveness of camu-camu in the Ucayali region). The independent variable was divided into three dimensions: level of safety and traceability, level of worker health, safety, and well-being, and level of environmental management and conservation. The results showed a positive and significant correlation between the implementation of the GLOBAL GAP standard and camu-camu competitiveness (rho = 0.351, p = 0.024). Specifically, a moderate and significant positive correlation was found between the level of safety and traceability and competitiveness (rho = 0.430, p = 0.005). In contrast, the level of worker health, safety, and well-being did not show a significant correlation (rho = 0.150, p = 0.350). On the other hand, the level of environmental management and conservation showed a positive and significant correlation with competitiveness (rho = 0.396, p = 0.010). These findings suggest that although the implementation of the GLOBAL GAP standard generally improves camu-camu competitiveness, aspects such as safety, traceability, and environmental management have a greater impact.
