Escuela de Posgrado. Maestría en Manejo Integrado de PlagasEl estudio se llevó a cabo en el Instituto Nacional de Investigación Agraria Huaral. El objetivo principal fue determinar si el suministro de volúmenes de riego específico influye sobre las poblaciones de plagas en el cultivo de palto cv ‘Hass’ y evaluar los frutos dañados. La metodología consistió en evaluar 80 plantas, cuatro tratamientos, con cinco plantas cada uno y cuatro repeticiones. Para el muestreo el árbol frutal se ha dividido en cuadrantes (E, S, O, N), marcando las hojas en el tercio medio en cada cuadrante, evaluando cuatro hojas por planta, determinando el número de individuos presentes en el haz y envés, cada 7 días, siendo un total de 320 hojas, los frutos se evaluaron en la cosecha. Se analizó las variables seleccionadas a partir de una base de datos aplicando el diseño DBCA y la prueba Tukey y el uso de programas SPSS y Excel. Los resultados muestran que el suministro de volumen de riego específico influye sobre las poblaciones de Aleurodicus juleikae, Protopulvinaria pyriformis y Fiorinia fioriniae en cultivo de palto cv. ‘Hass’, en Huaral, a T° mínima promedio de 18.30 °C y máxima de 23 °C y 73.5 por ciento HR. Las poblaciones de ninfas/adultos de Aleurodicus juleikae en T1 tuvo mayor incidencia y el T3 menor incidencia, el pico más alto se observó el 09/12/16 con 5.3 individuos/hoja en la etapa fenológica de cuajado. Las cantidades de ninfas/adultos de Fiorinia fioriniae en el T3 tuvo mayor incidencia y menor en T4, el pico más alto se tuvo el 24/02/17 en la etapa fenológica de llenado de fruto con 4.1 individuos/hoja. La población de ninfas/adultos de Protopulvinaria pyriformis en el T2 tuvo mayor incidencia y menor en T3, el pico más alto se halló el 14/10/16 con 4.65 individuos/hoja, en la etapa fenológica de floración. Las tres plagas iniciaron infestación desde la apertura del botón floral (julio-setiembre) hasta inicio de maduración (marzo), las mayores poblaciones se presentaron sobre 19 ºC de temperatura y 63 por ciento de HR, en los meses de diciembre-febrero. Con respecto al número de frutos dañados por Thrips tabaci, el T3 presentó menor daño con promedio de 2.25 frutos y el T2 presentó un promedio de 5.50 frutos dañados, siendo el mayor promedio de todos los tratamientos. Mientras que para Oiketicus kirby y Fiorinia fioriniae los daños no fueron significativos.The study was carried out at the National Institute of Agrarian Research Huaral. The main objective was to determine if the supply of specific irrigation volumes influences the populations of pests in the cultivation of avocado cv ‘Hass’ and to evaluate the damaged fruits. The methodology consisted of evaluating 80 plants, four treatments, with five plants each and four replications.
