Maestría en Producción AgrícolaLa presente experimentación se desarrolló con el objetivo de evaluar la emergencia, el vigor y fenología pre-trasplante de plántulas procedentes de semilla sembrada con y sin endocarpio, de nueve genotipos de café en Oxapampa, a fin de contar con nuevos genotipos de plántulas uniformes. Se utilizó un diseño experimental de bloques randomizados con arreglo factorial. El experimento tuvo dos fases: i) en germinador, se sembraron para cada genotipo, semillas con y sin endocarpio y ii) en condiciones de almacigo, se repicaron para cada genotipo plantas procedentes de siembra de semillas con y sin endocarpio. Para las variables evaluadas en germinador y almacigo, los genotipos que destacaron, fueron los siguientes: UNACAF-89 (caturra rojo): porcentaje de emergencia (57%); ritmo de crecimiento (4,04 mm/semana); UNACAF-116 (catimor): peso fresco de plántula (0,64 g); índice de vigor de plántula (53,79); peso fresco parte aérea (2,36 g); peso fresco de raíz (1,27 g); peso seco parte aérea (0,53 g); peso seco de raíz (0,16 g); volumen de raíz (1,25 ml); UNACAF-250 (obata): peso seco de plántula (0,13 g); altura de planta (10,13 cm); UNACAF-188 (caturra amarillo): tasa de emergencia (1,17 plantas/día) y UNACAF-213 (geisha): diámetro de tallo (2,81 mm). En el grupo de semillas sembradas sin endocarpio se presentaron mejoras para las variables: porcentaje de emergencia, tasa de emergencia, índice de vigor de plántula, peso fresco de raíz y en el volumen de raíz. UNACAF-89 (caturra rojo) obtuvo el mayor número de plantas en los estadios secundarios 09 y 10; asimismo, el mayor número de hipocótilos en el estadio secundario 07 de la escala BBCH.The present experimentation was developed with the objective of evaluating the emergence, vigor and pre-transplantation phenology of seedlings from seed sown with and without endocarp, of nine coffee genotypes in Oxapampa, in order to have new genotypes of uniform seedlings. An experimental design of randomized blocks with factorial arrangement was used. The experiment had two phases: i) in a germinator, seeds with and without endocarp were sown for each genotype, and ii) under nursery conditions, plants from sowing seeds with and without endocarp were pricked for each genotype. For the variables evaluated in the germinator and nursery, the genotypes that stood out were the following: UNACAF-89 (red caturra): emergency percentage (57%); growth rate (4,04 mm/week); UNACAF-116 (catimor): seedling fresh weight (0,64 g); seedling vigor index (53,79); aerial part fresh weight (2,36 g); root fresh weight (1,27 g); aerial part dry weight (0,53 g); root dry weight (0,16 g); root volume (1,25 ml); UNACAF-250 (obata): seedling dry weight (0,13 g); plant height (10,13 cm); UNACAF-188 (yellow caturra): emergence rate (1,17 plants/day) and UNACAF-213 (geisha): stem diameter (2,81 mm).
