Departamento Académico de Manejo ForestalEl presente documento tiene por finalidad describir el proceso de interpretación y análisis de imágenes satelitales de alta resolución, con la finalidad de monitorear la cobertura vegetal del área de influencia del gaseoducto de PERÚ LNG. Este proceso fue llevado a cabo por Consultores Asociados en Naturaleza y Desarrollo SAC (CANDES), y que ha estado a mi cargo desde el 2013 hasta la fecha. Los resultados detallan las condiciones en las que se encuentran los diversos componentes del paisaje sobre el Derecho de Vía del gasoducto de PERÚ LNG y su área de influencia. Por lo tanto, sirven de referencia para la planificación de actividades y trabajos de biorrestauración realizados como parte de los compromisos y responsabilidades que tiene la empresa Perú LNG con el medio ambiente. El capítulo 1 presenta brevemente a la empresa CANDES y describe de la experiencia de trabajo con PERÚ LNG. El capítulo 2 describe las acciones y proceso metodológico usado para la interpretación y análisis de imágenes satelitales. Mientras que el capítulo 3 se centra en los aportes, resultados y conclusiones del trabajo realizado.This document aims to describe the experience in the process of interpreting and analyzing highresolution satellite imagery to monitor the vegetation cover of the influence area of the PERÚ LNG gas pipeline. Conducted by Consultores Asociados en Naturaleza y Desarrollo SAC, under my leadership from 2013 to date. The results provide a detailed description of the conditions in which the various components of the landscape are found on the Right of Way of the PERÚ LNG gas pipeline and its area of influence. Then, results serve as a reference for activity planning and bio-restoration works carried as part of the commitments and responsibilities that Peru LNG has with the environment. Chapter 1 briefly introduces the company CANDES and provides an overview of the working experience with PERU LNG. Chapter 2 describes the actions and methodological process used for the interpretation and analysis of satellite imagery.
