Sumario:The aim of this study was to analyze the effect of different ultrasound conditions on the extraction of bioactive compounds in Ganoderma spp., with a focus on their potential applications in the health field. Although this fungus is widely valued for its medicinal properties, traditional extraction methods have limitations that negatively affect the yield and bioavailability of essential metabolites, such as triterpenes, polysaccharides, and phenolic compounds. To address these limitations, an ultrasound assisted extraction (UAE) technique was employed, using a 24 kHz ultrasonic bath for 15 minutes at a controlled temperature of 30 °C. This methodology allowed partial disruption of the mycelial cell walls, promoting the release of lipophilic compounds. To address these limitations, an ultrasound-assisted extraction (UAE) technique was employed, using a 24 kHz ultrasonic bath for 15 minutes at a controlled temperature of 30 °C. This methodology allowed for partial disruption of the mycelial cell walls, promoting the release of lipophilic compounds. The results indicated that the application of ultrasound as a pretreatment in the lipid extraction process produced a slight improvement in yield, increasing lipid recovery from 0.46 % using the conventional method to 0.50 %. Additionally, it was demonstrated that ultrasonic waves at 24 kHz produce acoustic cavitation phenomena capable of disrupting cellular matrices without compromising the bioactivity of the obtained metabolites. These findings support the use of ultrasonic technologies as an effective alternative to optimize both the efficiency of the extraction process and the biological functionality of the compounds present in Ganoderma spp., thereby enhancing their therapeutic potential in nutraceutical and pharmacological contexts. In conclusion, ultrasound assisted extraction emerges as an innovative, sustainable, and technically scalable strategy for obtaining bioactive compounds from Ganoderma spp., significantly contributing to the development of products with a positive impact on human health
