description Objetivo: determinar el nivel de conocimiento sobre seguridad del paciente en enfermeras del Centro Quirúrgico del Hospital Regional de Huacho, 2025. Materiales y métodos: un estudio de enfoque cuantitativo, diseño no experimental, transversal, de alcance descriptivo; con una muestra representada por 52 enfermeras(os) del área quirúrgica; la información será recogida utilizando un cuestionario validado. Resultados: los datos serán procesados utilizando el software estadístico SPSS versión 26. Se aplicará estadística descriptiva para analizar las frecuencias absolutas y relativas (porcentajes) de cada nivel de conocimiento (alto, medio o bajo), tanto a nivel general como por dimensión. Los resultados se presentarán en tablas y gráficos que permitirán visualizar el comportamiento de la variable en estudio. Conclusión: los niveles de conocimiento identificados servirán como base para diseñar estrategias de mejora orientadas a fortalecer las competencias del personal de enfermería quirúrgica en relación con la seguridad del paciente.

Materials and methods: a quantitative study with a non-experimental, cross-sectional, and descriptive design. The sample will consist of 52 nurses from the surgical area. Data will be collected using a validated questionnaire. Results: data will be processed using the statistical software SPSS version 26. Descriptive statistics will be applied to analyze absolute and relative frequencies (percentages) for each level of knowledge (high, medium, or low), both overall and by dimension. Results will be presented in tables and graphs to illustrate the behavior of the study variable.
