Sin embargo, diversos factores como los efectos adversos de la medicación, la complejidad del régimen terapéutico y las alteraciones cognitivas dificultan el cumplimiento adecuado del tratamiento. Persisten desafíos como la insuficiente educación del paciente, el acceso limitado a estrategias de apoyo y la necesidad de un enfoque multidisciplinario. Método: se analizaron 10 artículos científicos publicados en los últimos 11 años sobre el nivel de adherencia terapéutica al tratamiento y la calidad de vida en pacientes con Parkinson mediante síntesis cualitativa. Resultado: los resultados del tratamiento al garantizar la continuidad y efectividad de la medicación, mejora la calidad de vida al reducir síntomas motores y no motores, y minimiza complicaciones mediante un seguimiento adecuado, promoviendo un manejo integral y seguro de la enfermedad. Conclusión: la adherencia terapéutica en la Enfermedad de Parkinson es clave para mejorar la calidad de vida. Su variabilidad requiere estrategias personalizadas, incluyendo educación, apoyo socioeconómico y seguimiento farmacéutico para optimizar el tratamiento y reducir síntomas.

Challenges persist such as insufficient patient education, limited access to support strategies and the need for a multidisciplinary approach. Method: ten scientific articles published in the last 11 years on the level of therapeutic adherence to treatment and quality of life in patients Parkinson's disease were analyzed. Result: therapeutic adherence in patients with Parkinson's disease optimizes treatment results by ensuring the continuity and effectiveness of medication, improves quality of life by reducing motor and non-motor symptoms, and minimizes complications through adequate follow-up, promoting comprehensive and safe management of the disease. Conclusion: therapeutic adherence in Parkinson's disease is key to improving quality of life.
