Resultado: con el 55,2% la edad que prevalece es de 61 a 75 años, con el 78,80% el género femenino, el 51,20% su glicemia es regular, con el 53,20%, los pacientes utilizan fármacos orales, el nivel de conocimiento sobre alimentos carbohidratos, grasas y proteínas tienen un nivel alto con el 58,8%, 72,80% y un nivel medio de 63,60%, las practicas saludables 5 comidas al día con un 60,4% y su nivel de tratamiento farmacológico es alto con un 53,60% Conclusiones: la relación entre el conocimiento sobre alimentación con las practicas saludables y tratamiento farmacológico en pacientes con diabetes mellitus tipo II en el policlínico MEDSALUD, San Juan de Lurigancho, 2023, con un rango de 0,603 y un Sig. Bilateral <0,005.
