description Objetivo: determinar la relación entre el nivel de conocimientos y actitudes sobre la prevención de la tuberculosis pulmonar en familias de pacientes atendidos en el Centro de Salud Collique III Zona. Materiales y métodos: enfoque cuantitativo, diseño no experimental, transversal y correlacional. La población estuvo conformada por los familiares de pacientes con tuberculosis pulmonar atendidos en el C.S Collique III zona, Según la licenciada coordinadora de la Estrategia Sanitaria de Prevención y Control de Tuberculosis, en ese momento eran atendidos un total de 45 pacientes. los instrumentos fueron un cuestionario para evaluar los conocimientos y una escala tipo Likert para evaluar las actitudes, ambos válidos y confiables. Resultados: la edad promedio fue 34,38 años. El 20,00% (N=9) de las familias tienen un nivel de conocimientos bajo. El 48,89% (N=22) un nivel de conocimientos regular, y el 31,11% (N=14) alcanzan un nivel de conocimientos alto. El 20,00% (N=9) de las familias muestran una actitud de rechazo hacia la prevención de la tuberculosis pulmonar. El 57,80% (N=26) tienen una actitud de indiferencia, mientras que el 22,20% (N=10) una actitud de aceptación. El valor de p (p=0.001) indica que existe una relación estadísticamente significativa entre las variables. Conclusiones: existe relación significativa entre el nivel de conocimientos y actitudes sobre la prevención de la tuberculosis pulmonar en familias de pacientes atendidos en el Centro de Salud Collique III Zona.

The population was made up of relatives of patients with pulmonary tuberculosis treated in the C.S Collique III zone. According to the coordinator of the Health Strategy for the Prevention and Control of Tuberculosis, at that time a total of 45 patients were treated. The instruments were a questionnaire to evaluate knowledge and a Likert-type scale to evaluate attitudes, both valid and reliable.
