Los participantes fueron seleccionados mediante muestreo voluntario. El análisis de los datos se realizó con el programa SPSS versión 27.0 y los valores p < 0.05 se consideraron estadísticamente significativos. Resultados: Los padres tienen una actitud aceptable (69.0%) hacia las vacunas contra la COVID-19 potencialmente motivada por el deseo de proteger a sus hijos. Buena parte (97.5%) de los participantes tenían dudas sobre las vacunas. A pesar de ello, la mayoría (95%) expresaron su aceptación a la vacuna COVID-19 para los niños. Conclusiones: una proporción significativa de padres dudan en vacunar a sus hijos porque tienen poca confianza en la eficacia y seguridad de la vacuna para COVID-19 y no están seguros de si sus hijos deberían vacunarse.

Materials and methods: basic, quantitative, cross-sectional research was carried out. A structured questionnaire facilitated the data collection process. Participants were selected by voluntary sampling. Data analysis was performed using SPSS version 27.0 and p-values < 0.05 were considered statistically significant. Results: Parents have an acceptable attitude (69.0%) towards COVID-19 vaccines potentially motivated by the desire to protect their children. A large proportion (97.5%) of participants had doubts about the vaccines. Despite this, the majority (95%) expressed acceptance of the COVID-19 vaccine for children.
