description Objetivo: identificar las características que determinan el cumplimiento de la lactancia materna exclusiva en madres con niños menores de 6 meses en el Centro Materno Infantil “Villa María del Triunfo”, Lima – 2024. Materiales y Métodos: el enfoque de la presente investigación es de tipo cuantitativo, descriptivo, no experimental y se desarrollará en el Centro Materno Infantil “Villa María del Triunfo”, Ubicado en el Distrito de Villa María del Triunfo, Provincia de Lima, Departamento de Lima, Perú. La población de estudio estará conformada por 645 madres con hijos lactantes menores de 6 meses de edad. Para obtener la muestra se aplicará el diseño no probabilístico, siendo un total de 154 madres con hijos lactantes menores de 6 meses de edad. Para la recolección de datos se aplicará la técnica de la encuesta, en el que se usará un cuestionario para medir la variable sobre el cumplimiento de la lactancia materna exclusiva. Resultados: el análisis consistirá en caracterizar las tendencias importantes en la información existente y mirar las circunstancias que orienten a hechos nuevos. Los organizaremos, tabularemos y describiremos el resultado. calcularemos las medidas simples de composición y distribución de variables. Y dependiendo del tipo de información, podríamos identificar proporciones, tasas, razones o promedios, para nuestro caso de la encuesta hecha por muestreo, se podrá utilizar medidas de las dimensiones sobre el cumplimiento de la lactancia materna. Conclusiones: para establecer las conclusiones, éstas se elaborarán en base al objetivo general propuesto y el comportamiento de cada dimensión, contrastando entre la realidad observada y teorías del estudio, de lo cual se obtendrán un resumen priorizando lo más significativo que nos permita ampliar los conocimientos sobre el fenómeno en estudio.

Materials and Methods: the focus of this research is quantitative, descriptive, non-experimental and will be developed at the “Villa María del Triunfo” Maternal and Child Center, located in the District of Villa María del Triunfo, Province of Lima, Department of Lima, Peru. The study population will be made up of 645 mothers with nursing children under 6 months of age. To obtain the sample, the non-probabilistic design will be applied, with a total of 154 mothers with nursing children under 6 months of age. To collect data, the survey technique will be applied, in which a questionnaire will be used to measure the variable on compliance with exclusive breastfeeding.
