Objetivo: se examinaron 10 artículos científicos de manera sistematica que fueron publicados en los últimos 5 años, Filtrados por su significancia en plataformas como Scielo, Scopus, sciencedirect. Los estudios evaluaron el efecto antidiabético en las diversas plantas. Los siguientes datos se organizaron a partir de una recopilación cualitativa temática. Resultados: se utilizaron 10 artículos científicos seleccionados sobre el uso de las plantas naturales que puedan tener un efecto antidiabético. Determinando que las plantas naturales que fueron investigadas si cumplen con un efecto para la reducción de la glucemia. Conclusiones: las plantas naturales contienen en su composición moléculas bioactivas que son fundamentales para el tratamiento y prevención de la diabetes.

Goals: 10 scientific articles that were published in the last 5 years were examined, filtered by their significance on platforms such as Scielo, Scopus, ScienceDirect. The studies evaluated the antidiabetic effect in various plants. The following data was organized from a thematic qualitative collection. Results: 10 selected scientific articles were used on the use of natural plants that may have an antidiabetic effect. Determining that the natural plants that were investigated do have an effect on reducing blood glucose.
