description El presente estudio analiza cómo los proyectos de reasentamiento humano influyen en el desarrollo económico en el Perú, a partir de un enfoque cualitativo basado en entrevistas a especialistas internacionales. La investigación se sustenta en el modelo de Riesgos y Reconstrucción de Cernea, el cual permite identificar los principales factores que afectan la recuperación de los medios de vida de las poblaciones desplazadas. Los resultados evidencian que el reasentamiento puede convertirse en una oportunidad de desarrollo si se planifica de manera integral, incorporando no solo compensaciones económicas, sino también acceso a activos productivos, formación técnica y fortalecimiento del capital humano. Asimismo, se destaca la importancia de la participación comunitaria, la cohesión social y el acceso a servicios financieros para garantizar la sostenibilidad de los procesos. Finalmente, el estudio concluye que el éxito de los reasentamientos depende de políticas públicas efectivas, una adecuada articulación institucional y estrategias que promuevan la integración económica de las comunidades, evitando que el traslado se limite a un cambio físico y logrando un desarrollo sostenible a largo plazo.

The research is grounded in Cernea’s Impoverishment Risks and Reconstruction model, which makes it possible to identify the main factors affecting the recovery of livelihoods among displaced populations. The findings show that resettlement can become a development opportunity when it is planned in a comprehensive manner, incorporating not only financial compensation but also access to productive assets, technical training, and the strengthening of human capital. Likewise, the importance of community participation, social cohesion, and access to financial services is highlighted as key elements to ensure the sustainability of these processes.
