description Objetivo: determinar la actitud del lavado de manos en los escolares del 4to y 5to grado de primaria en la Institución Educativa Nacional Héctor Pretell 7099, Lima- 2025. Materiales y métodos: se usó un enfoque cuantitativo, diseño no experimental, de corte transversal y descriptivo. Los escolares del 4to y 5to de primaria son parte de la población, la muestra final compuesta por 112 participantes. La técnica fue la encuesta y el instrumento fue el cuestionario. Resultados: se evidencia que la actitud del lavado de manos es de un valor indiferente (53,6%), seguido de la actitud aceptable (25,9%) y por último la actitud de rechazo (20,5%). Conclusión: se halló que los escolares del 4to y 5to de primaria tienen una actitud de lavado de manos donde predominó la actitud indiferente.

Materials and methods: a quantitative approach was used, with a non experimental, cross-sectional, and descriptive design. The population comprised 4th and 5th grade students, and the final sample consisted of 112 participants. The technique was a survey, and the instrument was a questionnaire. Results: the data revealed a predominance of indifferent practices (53.6%), acceptable practices (25.9%), and rejection practices (20.5%).
