description Este trabajo de investigación lleva por título “Propuesta de control interno para reducir el descarte de productos- mermas y desmedros- área de frutas de las empresas Retail. Caso: Tiendas Econo Ahorro, sede Manco Cápac. La victoria, Lima 2017”. Debido a la falta de supervisión y control de los productos perecibles en el área de frutas, que origina grandes pérdidas a la empresa. Esto se debe por la mala manipulación, rotación y curación de los colaboradores del área perecibles. Los procesos de inventario, área de compras y Logística no son los adecuados, carecen de control interno, las auditorías realizadas son solo un soporte, pero falta más apoyo por parte de la gerencia. Por tal motivo se propone un control interno que ayude a reducir la merma en el área de frutas, con la ayuda de un supervisor perenne en el área, que capacite constantemente al personal y esto sirva para realizar mejor la manipulación, exhibición y compras de las frutas, obteniendo stock sincerados para el inventario. Con la implementación se disipará o disminuirá la merma y desmedro en el área de fruta, ayudando hacer rentable el área con menos pérdidas.
