description Esta investigación tuvo como objetivo sobre determinar si existe la relación entre satisfacción familiar y comunicación familiar en adolescentes del asentamiento humano San Luis, Nuevo Chimbote, 2022. El nivel de investigación fue cuantitativo con un nivel de investigación descriptivo y el diseño de investigación no experimental, correlacional y transversal. El universo estuvo conformado por adolescentes del Asentamiento humano San Luis, Nuevo Chimbote, la muestra fue no probabilístico de tipo por conveniencia obtenido de 100 adolescentes de ambos sexos que si cumplieron con los criterios de inclusión para este estudio. Los instrumentos utilizados para la recolección de datos son, la escala de Satisfacción Familiar (Olson y Wilson, 1982) y comunicación Familiar de Olson et al. (2006). El resultado del estudio fue que no existe relación entre Satisfacción familiar y Comunicación familiar, así mismo la mayor parte de encuestados presentan un nivel alto de Satisfacción familiar y un nivel alto de comunicación.
