description El objetivo que se tuvo en la presente investigación fue determinar el nivel de ansiedad de la madre en el tratamiento odontológico de pacientes niños, utilizando la Escala de Corah en la Clínica Docente Niño y Madre Gestante de la Universidad Inca Garcilaso de la Vega, ciclo académico 2017-II. Con respecto al diseño fue descriptivo y el tipo de investigación fue Transversal, Prospectivo y Observacional. Para realizar el estudio y poder cumplir con los objetivos se utilizó una muestra constituida por madres de 100 niños que se atendieron en la Clínica Docente Niño y Madre Gestante de la Facultad de Estomatología de la Universidad Inca Garcilaso de la Vega, que cumplieron con los criterios de inclusión y exclusión. Los datos obtenidos se procesaron mediante el programa estadístico informático Microsoft Excel Versión 2014 y el programa SPSS versión 22. Luego se aplicó estadística descriptiva e inferencial, que se muestran en tablas y gráficos. En los resultados se observa que en mayoría en un número de 47 (47%) madres respondieron que tenían una Baja Ansiedad, corroborado en la escala de Corah, que da un resultado de 8.11, estando encuadrado en la Baja ansiedad; un número de 31 (31%) de las madres respondieron que tenían una Ansiedad moderada y en menos porcentaje en un número de 21 (21%) las madres respondieron que estaban sin ansiedad. .Se concluye que las madres encuestadas tenían una Baja Ansiedad. Conclusión. La atención odontológica en la Clínica Docente Niño y Madre Gestante de la Universidad Inca Garcilaso de la Vega, están brindando un buen manejo de la parte emocional a los niños y buena información sobre los tratamientos a las madres, lo que generaría que éstas acudan con baja ansiedad al tratamiento de sus hijos, lo que se refleja en la tranquilidad y confianza por parte de ellos
