description La finalidad de este trabajo de investigación es determinar el nivel de estrategias de aprendizaje que presentan los estudiantes del 5to año de secundaria de la institución educativa Gran Unidad Escolar “Las Mercedes” de la ciudad de Juliaca – 2015. Para ello se realizó un estudio descriptivo no experimental transeccional. El instrumento aplicado fue el inventario de Habilidades y Estrategias de Aprendizaje (HEA) que consta de 77 items y está diseñado para medir los niveles de estrategias cognitivas, afectivas y metacognitivas. Este instrumento fue aplicado en una muestra aleatoria estratificada de 129 estudiantes seleccionados al azar.
