description El objetivo general de esta investigación fue determinar el nivel de conciencia turística de los pobladores del distrito del Rímac, Así mismo se plantearon tres objetivos específicos que contribuirán a alcanzar el objetivo general. La metodología utilizada para llevar a cabo esta investigación fue de tipo básico –descriptiva con enfoque cuantitativo y de diseño no experimenta transversal. La población estuvo conformada por 96,830 habitantes del distrito del Rímac, aplicando la fórmula para hallar la muestra, se encuestaron a 382 personas de manera individual. Los datos fueron analizados por el programa estadístico SPSS 22.0, los cuales fueron interpretados teniendo como conclusión que la población posee un nivel medio de conciencia turística. Por lo que es recomendable reforzar aún más la conciencia turística a partir de los colegios ,y de esta manera poder formar a futuros ciudadanos concientes de sus acciones y así brindar un servicio de calidad.
