El enfoque fue cuantitativo, de tipo básica, diseño correlacional, corte transversal tuvo una muestra de 78 trabajadores Municipalidad Distrital de Pariahuanca, se utilizó los cuestionarios ambos adaptados por la investigadora y validados por juicio de expertos con un nivel alto de confiabilidad. Los resultados determinaron que el control interno se relaciona directa (Rho=0, 542) y significativamente (p=0.000) con las compras públicas menores a 8 UIT en la Municipalidad Distrital de Pariahuanca, Ancash, 2019, se acepta la hipótesis alterna y la relación es moderada.
