description Para el desenvolvimiento de esta investigación, se trazó como objetivo determinar la relación entre la gestión municipal y el ordenamiento territorial urbano en la Municipalidad Provincial de Huaraz. Este trabajo sostuvo un enfoque cuantitativo, de tipo aplicado, no experimental y correlacional; como población se consideró 255 personas que laboran en la gerencia de desarrollo urbano del órgano estatal y para el instrumento se trató con 155 trabajadores. Por consiguiente, se hizo la prueba de confiabilidad, obteniendo como resultados 0.952 y 0.812 para las variables Gestión municipal y Ordenamiento territorial urbano, para ello se contó con un instrumento de 29 preguntas. Finalmente, para los resultados se contrastó y validó las hipótesis con la prueba no paramétrica Rho de Spearman, teniendo como resultado p=0.048<0.05 y coeficiente 0.159, esta derivación valida la hipótesis general, alcanzando el objetivo de la presente investigación, por consiguiente, se infiere que la gestión municipal y el ordenamiento territorial urbano, tienen una relación significativa.
