description Uno los problemas que se presentan son las desigualdades regionales y urbanas-rurales, mientras que las áreas urbanas en Perú tienden a tener acceso a agua potable, muchas regiones rurales y comunidades indígenas están significativamente desatendidas. A nivel local en el caserío San Nicolás, Lambayeque, la falta de un adecuado sistema de saneamiento y agua potable es un problema local significativo. La ausencia del servicio de agua potable obliga a los habitantes a recorrer largas distancias para obtener agua, afectando negativamente su calidad de vida y desarrollo. Este problema es resultado de inversión insuficiente en infraestructuras, planificación y diseño inadecuados, y desafíos geográficos y socioeconómicos. El deterioro del suelo es un problema significativo asociado a la falta de un sistema de saneamiento adecuado. Sin un manejo efectivo de las aguas residuales, los contaminantes pueden infiltrarse en el suelo, alterando su composición química y física. Esto puede resultar en una disminución de la fertilidad del suelo y su capacidad para soportar vida vegetal, impactando la producción agrícola y la biodiversidad. Por ende, se desollará esta investigación “Diseño del sistema de abastecimiento de agua potable y tratamiento de excretas en el caserío San Nicolás, Lambayeque 2023”, la cual tendrá una metodología, cuasi experimental-aplicada.
