Para poder garantizar una vida sana y promover el bienestar para todos en todas las edades, se realizó una investigación básica, no experimental, de enfoque cuantitativo y transversal para determinar la asociación entre el hemograma completo automatizado y cada serotipo del dengue, en pacientes infectados por el virus, debidamente registrados, en el Hospital Provincial de Viru durante los meses de enero a junio del año 2024. La información obtenida de las historias clínicas (HC) del Hospital Provincial de Virú (HPV) y base de datos de excel del Laboratorio Regional Referencial de Salud Pública de la Libertad incluyeron los datos de 96 pacientes. De los 96 pacientes, se identificó 97% de los pacientes tratados por el virus del dengue fueron denv-1 y 3% fueron denv-2, confirmado por rt-PCR, con una prevalencia de 73,8% denv-1 y 2.3% denv-2. Se concluye que, a excepción del nivel de anemia según nivel de hemoglobina, el test de Ji cuadrado revelo que no existe una asociación significativa entre los otros indicadores de hemograma completo y el serotipo de dengue (p<0,05) en el Hospital Provincial de Virú, durante los meses de enero a junio del año 2024.
