A nivel metodológico es una investigación básica, de tipo correlacional con el fin de explorar la relación de dichas variables. La población con la que se trabajará son mujeres de un programa social, así mismo se empleará un muestreo no probabilístico; por conveniencia, para medir los constructos de estudio se utilizará la Escala de Satisfacción con la vida (SWLS) de Diener et al. y adaptada en Perú por Yauri y Vargas (2016) y el Cuestionario de Esquemas maladaptativos tempranos de Young, en su versión adaptada por Matute (2019). En la investigación se pretende descubrir que existe relación entre ambas variables de estudio, teniendo en cuenta la realidad problemática y basándose en hallazgos recopilados en los antecedentes nacionales e internaciones dentro del estudio.
