description La presente investigación tuvo como objetivo de qué manera el empowerment se relaciona con la gestión municipal del distrito de Echarate, Cusco – 2020. Se considera en las bases teóricas al autor Idalberto Chiavenato para la variable Empowerment y a la autora Isabel María García para la variable Gestión municipal. La investigación es de tipo aplicada, el diseño es no experimental de corte transversal, la población estuvo conformada por el personal administrativo de la Municipalidad Distrital de Echarate, que suma 188 personas de planta, del cual se tuvo una muestra de 127. Para la recolección de datos se utilizó la técnica de la encuesta, usando como instrumento el cuestionario conformado por 56 preguntas con una medición de tipo Likert con 5 alternativas, lográndose como resultado que existe una relación positiva considerable entre el empowerment y la gestión municipal. En conclusión, una mejor práctica del empowerment permitirá una mejor gestión municipal.
