description En el presente estudio se planteó por objetivo general: Analizar el nivel de control de inventarios para el adecuado registro contable en las Mypes ferreteras del Distrito de Andahuaylas, 2019. Para lograr el objetivo se aplicó un cuestionario a 71 Mypes ferreteras ubicadas en distrito de Andahuaylas, siendo un estudio básico, descriptivo, no experimental y de corte transversal. Los resultados fueron: El 77% de las Mypes realiza un inadecuado control de entrada de mercancías, lo cual afectaría el valor del inventario final. El 77% realiza un inadecuado control de almacenamiento de mercancías lo cual generaría que no se registre las pérdidas por deterioro de existencias. El 76% lleva a cabo un inadecuado control de salida de mercancías, lo cual generaría pérdidas sobre sus estados de resultados. El 77% realiza un bajo nivel de control de inventarios, lo cual perjudicaría sus estados de ganancias y pérdidas. La conclusión fue: Las Mypes ferreteras ubicadas en distrito de Andahuaylas realizan un inadecuado control de inventario que no le permitiría realizar un correcto registro contable.
