description El presente estudio, tuvo como objetivo general determinar la relación que existe entre el control interno y la gestión de abastecimiento en la municipalidad provincial de Yungay, ejercicio fiscal 2023 y se planteó la investigación de tipo básica, diseño no experimental – transversal y de nivel correlacional con un enfoque cuantitativo que usó la encuesta como técnica y el cuestionario como el instrumento para poder recolectar los datos usándose una muestra de 64 trabajadores aplicándoles un cuestionario tipo Likert, el cual fue validado con el juicio de tres expertos y su confiabilidad según el test alfa de Cronbach comprobó que el instrumento era altamente confiable. Se usó el coeficiente Rho de Spearman para obtener los niveles de correlación. Al aplicar las pruebas para evaluar la correlación de variables existentes entre el control interno y la gestión de abastecimiento de dicho municipio, se infiere que existe una alta correlación positiva de 68.2%, siendo esta una relación altamente significativa. Se puede concluir que, a mayor sea la mejora en la implementación del control interno, mayor será el nivel de la gestión de abastecimiento en la municipalidad.
