description La presente investigación se llevó a cabo con el objetivo de determinar las potencialidades turísticas para el desarrollo de un producto turístico vivencial en el distrito de Julcán año 2017, de investigación no experimental, de corte transversal, con dos poblaciones una de 57 caseríos la otra de 13 recursos turísticos y con un muestra de 372, así mismo se realizó una encuesta a la comunidad receptora y una ficha de observación para los recursos turísticos en operación y no operación ,accesibilidad , planta turística , servicios básicos y complementarios , llegando a la conclusión que las potencialidades turísticas del distrito de Julcán son la comunidad receptora predispuesta, existencia de recursos turísticos, servicios básicos y complementarios aptos al turismo, planta turística deficiente, y accesibilidad.
