description La presente investigación titulada “La obligación de registrar la compraventa de bienes inmuebles para brindar seguridad jurídica” tuvo como objetivo determinar si debe existir la obligación de registrar la compraventa de bienes inmuebles para brindar seguridad jurídica. Además, investigamos la importancia que se registre la compraventa de bienes inmuebles y cómo influye el que inscribir dicho acto brinde la tutela y seguridad jurídica que se busca en la adquisición de un bien inmueble. Asimismo, el enfoque de nuestra investigación fue cualitativo de tipo aplicada, el diseño de la investigación es no experimental basado en la teoría fundamentada, siendo la técnica empleada la recolección y análisis de datos a través de entrevistas a Abogados con conocimiento en Derecho Registral y Civil. De la misma forma se analizó, Constitución Política, antecedentes nacionales e internacionales, leyes, doctrina y jurisprudencia nacional y donde identificamos criterios tomados para los registros públicos y la compraventa de bienes inmuebles. En conclusión, se determinó que, si debe existir la obligación de registrar la compraventa de bienes inmuebles ello con la finalidad de brindar seguridad jurídica a los adquirientes del bien, ante terceros y evita que se inscriban medidas judiciales y embargos, que se encuentren relacionados al antiguo propietario.
