description El presente trabajo de investigación tuvo como objetivo principal evaluar si la gestión municipal se relaciona con la responsabilidad social en una municipalidad distrital de la provincia de Piura, 2023. La metodología que se utilizó fue de enfoque cuantitativo, tipo aplicada, de nivel correlacional, de diseño no experimental con un corte transversal. Asimismo, la muestra estuvo constituida por 107 colaboradores, los instrumentos para la recolección de datos fue el cuestionario consistiendo en veinticuatro preguntas para la primera variable y veintidós para la segunda variable; siendo validados por juicio de expertos y la entrevista al gerente municipal, Por otro lado, como parte de los resultados para comprobar la relación entre ambas variables de estudio, se trabajó el estadístico Spearman para el coeficiente de correlación (r=0,771), demostrando que existe una relación positiva y de nivel alto de significancia aceptando la hipótesis. Por ende, la conclusión principal de la investigación indicó que, si la gestión municipal es eficiente, la responsabilidad social mejorará, según los resultados se elaboró la propuesta lo cual se recomienda a la municipalidad implementarla.
