El presente trabajo cuenta con antecedentes sobre diversos estudios basados en el presupuesto y en el plan estratégico institucional lo que nos ayuda a tener un panorama más amplio como análisis del presente trabajo. El método de investigación que se ha desarrollado en el presente trabajo de investigación es el de tipo descriptivo correlacional, no experimental. Como resultado de todo el análisis se ha obtenido que existe una relación moderada entre el Plan Estratégico Institucional y el Presupuesto en la Universidad Nacional Intercultural de Quillabamba.
