La población bajo estudio la constituye los residentes del Centro Poblado Campoy en San Juan de Lurigancho constituido por 850 familias y como muestra a un total de 100 familias lo que permitirá cubrir el ámbito territorial del centro poblado. Se utilizaron dos instrumentos una para cada variable, Un cuestionario sobre seguridad ciudadana elaborado por Mirla Isabel Vilca Huayna (2016) y un cuestionario sobre bienestar personal elaborado por Mónica Bernaola Mendoza (2017). Finalmente, se concluye que se evidencia que si existe relación entre la Seguridad Ciudadana y el bienestar social con un Rho de Spearman de 0.989 que es una correlación alta, pero significativa (p < 0.001) y se interpreta que cuando mayor seguridad ciudadana, mayor será el bienestar social.
