description El objetivo de la investigación fue determinar el comercio internacional y la competitividad del Aceite de Oliva Virgen peruano durante el periodo 2008-2015. El diseño del trabajo de investigación es no experimental. La investigación es de tipo descriptivo. Para realizar el análisis de los datos obtenidos, se ha empleado el método estadístico, el cual consiste en organizar los datos a través de cuadros y presentarlos mediante gráficos de líneas y por último, se describen los datos a través de líneas de tendencias y coeficientes de determinación. De acuerdo con los resultados de la investigación, se demostró que la exportación y la importación mundial del Aceite de Oliva Virgen durante el periodo 2008-2015 han tenido una tendencia creciente, además se demostró que la exportación peruana de Aceite de Oliva Virgen ha sido competitiva durante el periodo 2008- 2015.
