description Esta investigación se enmarcó en el Objetivo de Desarrollo Sostenible 11: Ciudades y Comunidades Sostenibles; tuvo como objetivo determinar la relación entre la gestión ambiental y la recuperación de humedales en Pisco Playa, Ica, durante el año 2025; el estudio fue de enfoque cuantitativo, tipo básico, diseño no experimental de corte transversal; se trabajó con una muestra censal de 387 pobladores, a quienes se aplicó un cuestionario estructurado de 31 ítems, el cual fue validado y obtuvo un Alfa de Cronbach superior a 0,9; los resultados muestran una relación significativa entre las variables analizadas con un coeficiente Rho de Spearman de 0,814 y una significancia bilateral de 0,000; se evidenció una asociación alta entre la gestión ambiental y las dimensiones conservación de recursos naturales, impacto ambiental y desarrollo sostenible, cuyos coeficientes fueron 0,751; 0,801 y 0,767 respectivamente; se concluyó que mientras mayor es la percepción positiva de la gestión ambiental, también es mayor la valoración de los avances en recuperación de humedales y sostenibilidad ambiental en la zona.
