La investigación es tipo básica, de enfoque cuantitativo, diseño no experimental de corte transversal; cuya población estuvo conformada por 420 colaboradores y la muestra fue de 201 colaboradores. La técnica de recolección de datos fue la encuesta e instrumento, el cuestionario. Los resultados muestran que la gestión tributaria se encuentra en un nivel medio, con un 72.64%, por otra parte, la recaudación de impuestos se encuentra en un nivel medio con un 71.14%. Se concluye que existe una relación directa alta entre el gestión tributaria y recaudación de impuestos en una Municipalidad, Rioja, ya que r = ,941, que representa al 94.1%; indicando que cuando se mejore la gestión tributaria, también se mejorará la recaudación tributaria, debido a que están altamente relacionados.
