description El estudio de investigación tuvo como objetivo determinar el nivel de prevención de cáncer de mama en mujeres que acuden al Servicio de Medicina del Hospital Nacional Arzobispo Loayza, 2020. Estudio cuantitativo, descriptivo simple y de diseño no experimental de corte transversal. La muestra fueron 128 pacientes mujeres; la técnica de recolección de datos fue la encuesta y como instrumento se usó un cuestionario de 15 ítems con una confiabilidad de 0.776. Los resultados evidencian que el 58.59% (75/128) presenta un nivel de prevención de cáncer de mama regular, el 27.34% (35/128) óptima y el 14.06% (18/128) deficiente. Finalmente se concluyó según los datos brindados por las mujeres que acuden al Servicio de Medicina del Hospital Nacional Arzobispo Loayza, 2020, que la mayoría presenta un nivel de prevención regular en cuanto al cáncer de mama.
