description El presente trabajo tuvo como objetivo general: Determinar la influencia entre el control interno y la gestión municipal de los trabajadores de una municipalidad distrital, Ancash, 2023. La investigación fue de enfoque cuantitativo, con un tipo de estudio no experimental transversal, con diseño correlacional que cuenta con una muestra de 56 trabajadores administrativos. Se utilizó dos cuestionarios validados por tres expertos, con una confiabilidad medida por el coeficiente de Alfa de Cronbach que fue 0.841 para el primer cuestionario y 0.826 para el segundo. Como principales resultados, se halló que hay influencia positiva entre la variable control interno y gestión municipal con un coeficiente de R2 de 0.704, en donde mejores condiciones del control interno de alguna manera mejor podrá ser la gestión municipal, mostrándose la influencia. También se observa que la mayor influencia que tiene el control interno es con la dimensión control de la gestión municipal.
