description La presente tesis sobre Estrategias de seguridad ciudadana y la percepción de riesgo en el distrito de San Vicente – Cañete, 2020 fue presentada para obtener el grado de Maestra en Gestión Pública por la Universidad César Vallejo, Lima, Perú, planteó como objetivo determinar la relación entre las variables objeto de estudio. Empleó el tipo de investigación básica, de nivel descriptivo correlacional, de enfoque cuantitativo; de diseño no experimental transversal. La población estuvo formada por 130 ciudadanos del distrito de San Vicente, la muestra por 97 de ellos y la muestra fue probabilística. La técnica que empleó fue la encuesta y el instrumento de recolección de datos fue el cuestionario. Concluyó que existe una relación significativa entre las estrategias de seguridad y las dimensiones de la percepción de riesgo.
