description La presente investigación aportó al Objetivo de Desarrollo Sostenible número 3 Salud y Bienestar, tuvo como objetivo general determinar la relación entre la impulsividad y la autoestima en estudiantes de educación secundaria, Andahuaylas, 2025, para ello empleó una metodología de tipo básica, enfoque cuantitativo, diseño no experimental y corte transversal. La muestra estuvo conformada por 130 estudiantes de quinto año de secundaria de dos colegios públicos. Los instrumentos empleados fueron el cuestionario de Impulsividad de Barratt versión 11 (BIS-11) y Test de Autoestima General. Los resultados evidenciaron una correlación significativa inversa (Rho= -,504 p <,001) entre la variable impulsividad y la variable autoestima, existió una correlación significativa y negativa entre las dimensiones autoestima social, académica y física con la variable impulsividad y hubo una correlación significativa y negativa entre las dimensiones de la variable impulsividad y la variable autoestima. A nivel descriptivo se observó que el nivel de impulsividad predominó el nivel medio con un 55% y el nivel de autoestima predominó el nivel medio con un 95%. Lo que permitió concluir que el tamaño del efecto fue grande e involucra una correspondencia de 25.0% entre la variable impulsividad y autoestima.
